3 killed by Israeli fire in Gaza-Xinhua
GAZA, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Three Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, while the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) said Gaza residents were paying the "heaviest price" of the conflict. Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for Gaza's Civil Defense, told Xinhua that one Palestinian was killed in an Israeli strike near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in western Gaza City. In a separate incident, a young man was killed and several others injured in an Israeli strike in central Gaza City, Basal said.
