SEOUL, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's imported car sales rose in single digit last month, driven by strong demand for electric vehicles (EVs) and German luxury models, industry data showed Tuesday. The number of newly imported passenger car registrations here gained 6.3 percent from a year earlier to 34,904 in September, according to the Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association. The total reserves sank 1.72 billion U.S. dollars from a month earlier to 440.56 billion dollars at the end of September, marking the first decrease since May, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
