KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the ozone layer and tackling climate change through a transition towards more sustainable and energy-efficient cooling technologies, its Department of Environment said on Saturday. This includes reducing the consumption of high global warming potential hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), alongside accelerating the transition to sustainable and energy-efficient cooling technologies, the department said in a statement.
