Chinese EV giant BYD enters Namibian market in global expansion drive-Xinhua
WINDHOEK, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Chinese automaker BYD has officially launched its new energy vehicle brand in Namibia, expanding its presence in the African market. Namibian automotive distributor Pupkewitz Motors announced on Tuesday that it will represent BYD in the country, with the brand to be offered through retail outlets in Windhoek, Walvis Bay and Ongwediva. "Our ambition is not simply to introduce new vehicles to the market, but to create an experience around new energy mobility that is relevant to Namibian customers.
