OTTAWA, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) announced Monday it will lead the investigation into the crash of an air ambulance aircraft in international waters off Nantucket in the U.S. state of Massachusetts on Oct. 3. Flydubai attacker acted alone, preliminary Israeli probe finds: media-Xinhua

JERUSALEM, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- A preliminary Israeli investigation found that the co-pilot who attacked the captain of a Tel Aviv-bound Flydubai flight last week acted alone, Israel's Channel 12 reported on Sunday. The investigation, launched by Israeli security agencies immediately after the incident, is ongoing. The report follows U.S. President Donald Trump's suggestion on Thursday that Iran may have been involved. He offered no evidence and threatened military retaliation if a link was established. "Oh, they'll be hit, very hard, don't worry," he told reporters. Separately, an investigation by Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera said on Sunday th...

The petition, filed by Lula's Brasil Pronto Pra Mais coalition with the Superior Electoral Court, argued that the suspension could have portrayed Brazil as unstable on the eve of the vote and benefited opposition candidate Flavio Bolsonaro of the Liberal Party. The U.S. Embassy announced Thursday that consular services at the embassy and its consulates in Brazil would be suspended starting Friday, citing "security concerns" without elaborating. U.S....
