Cambodia issues weather warning as impacts of 3 storms bring rain, high winds-Xinhua
PHNOM PENH, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia's Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology issued a weather warning on Tuesday, advising travelers, particularly those using waterways, to exercise high vigilance from Oct. 6 to 10 due to the peripheral impacts of three tropical storms. According to a ministry notice, the Southeast Asian nation is currently experiencing the outer bands of typhoons Nolo and Koguma, alongside tropical storm Surigae. While Cambodia does not sit directly in the path of the three storms, their combined systems are expected to trigger increased rainfall and strong winds over the Mekong River Basin, coastal waters, and lowlands and highlands across the country.
