Five militants were killed during an intelligence-based operation in the South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, said the sources, adding that security forces recovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition.

The sources said that on the same day, six other militants were killed by the security forces in a separate operation in the Washuk district of Balochistan province.
