SDA, SNSD lead preliminary results for BiH parliamentary election-Xinhua

SARAJEVO, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) were leading the preliminary results for the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), according to data from the country's Central Election Commission (CEC) on Monday. In the BiH Federation, the SDA led with 238,576 votes, or 31.55 percent, followed by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) with 117,959 votes, or 15.60 percent. In Republika Srpska, the SNSD led with 206,202 votes, or 41.09 percent, followed by the Sigurna Srpska Movement with 75,297 votes, or 15.01 percent. SARAJEVO, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) held its 2026 general elections on Sunday, with voters electing three members of the BiH presidency and 42 members of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly.
