Myanmar exports over 161,900 tonnes of fishery products in first 6 months-Xinhua

YANGON, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar exported 161,931 tonnes of fishery products in the first six months of the fiscal year 2026-27, which began in April, earning over 278 million U.S. dollars, according to the Department of Fisheries on Tuesday. The export volume declined compared with the same period of the previous fiscal year, when the country exported over 190,567 tonnes of fishery products, the department said. Myanmar exports fishery products to about 40 countries and regions, with the majority going to China, Thailand, the Middle East and Europe, it said. ■ Source link

Afghan plant exports locally made batteries to Arab markets-Xinhua

KABUL, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Afghanistan's western Herat province has exported its domestically produced batteries to Arab countries, the provincial government office announced in a statement on Monday. The Green Energy Plus plant has dispatched its fourth consignment of locally manufactured batteries, valued at 2 million U.S. dollars, to Arab states, according to the statement on Monday. Pakistan’s fish, seafood exports rise 74.4 pct in Q1-Xinhua

ISLAMABAD, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's fish and seafood exports rose 74.4 percent year on year to 125.4 million U.S. dollars in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27, according to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. Export volumes saw a parallel jump of 74.8 percent, reaching 61,679 metric tons compared to 35,294 metric tons during the same period last year. Libya bans exports of agricultural products, locally produced foodstuffs-Xinhua

TRIPOLI, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Libya's Minister of Economy and Trade Suhail Abu Shiha on Sunday issued a decision to regulate and control export operations, imposing a series of restrictions on the export and re-export of goods and products, according to a ministry statement. Under the decision, the export of all agricultural products is banned, with dates being the sole exception.
