JAKARTA, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's Ministry of Investment and Downstream will take over the issuance of limited-stay permits (KITAS) for foreign workers within the next two months, a move aimed at simplifying immigration procedures and providing greater certainty for investors, Minister Rosan Roeslani said Tuesday. Roeslani said the ministry had reached an agreement with the Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections to streamline the issuance process. JAKARTA, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- The National Library of Indonesia received a donation of 100 books from 11 Chinese publishing houses during a handover ceremony held here on Saturday. The books, including the English edition of the first volume of "China's Governance Under Xi Jinping's Leadership," have undergone a selection and curation process by the national library in accordance with its collection development principles, the library said in a press release, adding that the curation process took into account users' needs, accessibility, relevance, subject diversity, and suitability as sources of reference.
